Administration

Paul Miller
President

Paul Miller was the first salesman hired by the new company in 1978. “My first job was selling used school buses,” remembers Paul. “I’d make phone calls in the morning and wash them in the afternoon !”
When the founder of the company decided to move operations to California in 1989, Paul was given the opportunity to purchase the name and commercial bus part of the business. “ I was undercapitalized and never sure what would happen next month,” says Miller. “I have been blessed to have amazing customers and co-workers that are committed to our mission statement and the opportunities that living in this great country have provided.”

Dale Couturier
General Manager

Dale has been with Arizona Bus Sales for 29 years. Dale started with ABS in the Service Department as the Parts and Service Manager back in 1981. In 1986 he moved into the Sales department as Sales Representative selling motor coaches throughout the US. In 1989 the ownership of the company changed and Dale became the nationwide Used Bus Sales Representative. With the addition of sales staff over the next 6 years He was promoted to Sales Manager in 1997. Dale became the General Manager in 2001 and currently serves as managing partner.

Paula Dong
Sales Administrator / Office Manager

Paula joined Arizona Bus Sales in 2000. For the past 10 years she has been busy with everything from scheduling vehicle delivery to un-jamming the copy machine. As Sales Administrator and Office Manager, Paula dispatches drivers, completes all MVD title work, assists with bids and oversees the office. She is also the proud owner of 4 children and 3 grandchildren.

Marilyn Whitten
Controller

Marilyn started with our company in January 1994 in a part –time position which almost immediately turned into full-time, over-time, any-time position. We comically refer to her as the “bean counter.” She tries to keep our spending in check and is responsible for all financial reporting. Marilyn’s hobbies include horseback riding, camping, playing pool, and taking long walks in the woods with her two dogs.

Ashley Hardaway
Administrative Assistant

Ashley has been the voice and face of Arizona Bus Sales since May 2005. In addition to cheerfully answering the phones, she is assistant to the Sales Administrator. Ashley is responsible for filing warranty registrations, completing and recording files on all buses sold, tracking dealer plates and Tribal Licensing, as well as anything else no one wants to do! She’s funny, pleasant, has a wonderful smile and she is single! She has 3 beautiful nieces of which she is very proud.

Pablo Gonzales
Buildings and Grounds Maintenance

Pablo has been with Arizona Bus Sales for over 4 years. His relentless efforts keep our beautiful facility in tip top shape. Pablo’s responsibilities include all building and grounds maintenance and general upkeep. Pablo works behind the scenes like a ninja! You might not see him, but you can tell when he has been around.

Jason Walle
Sales Representative

Jason Walle started as a Sales Representative with Arizona Bus Sales in January of 1998. His main markets of responsibility include, Tour and Charter, Limousine Companies, Hotel and Resort, Car Rental, Parking Companies, Casinos, National Corporate Accounts and Pre-owned sales. Jason’s family has been greatly involved in the recreational vehicle and commercial bus manufacturing industry since 1960. In his free time Jason enjoys hunting, fishing, baseball, golf and spending time with his wife Julie and his two children Andrew and Hannah. Jason is a 1997 graduate of Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and Mass Communications.

Mike Shultz
Sales Representative

Mike Shultz is a career sale’s professional who brings experience, vision, and enthusiasm to Arizona Bus Sales as well as New Mexico Bus Sales. He has been with the company for almost 8 years, enjoys the culture and focus of customer service that Arizona Bus Sales strives for everyday. He is proud to be a part of the Arizona Bus Sales team. Mike is married to Meg, his wife of 34 years, has 3 children, 2 son in-laws and 3 wonderful grandchildren. Golf and cooking is on the agenda for most weekends, then on Mondays he shares recipes with Paul and Dale.

Charlie Conn
Sales Representative

Charlie has been with Arizona Bus Sales since 1982. As a child, he lived in a trailer on the bus yard where the gated lot was his play pen and the inventory was his jungle gym. When he was old enough to work he worked part time as a bus washer and mechanics helper doing various mechanic duties. He started as a full time mechanic once he was finished with school. In 2002, Charlie was called to go on the show Monster Garage, and with a group of master mechanics they transformed a school bus into a pontoon boat. In 2006 Charlie moved into sales. Charlie knows his way around buses, is committed to his customers and always has a smile on his face.

Jason Miller
Sales Representative

Jason has been working at Arizona Bus Sales in some capacity for most of his life. Since graduating from ASU with a major in Computer Information Systems, he’s had the opportunity to work in a variety of different environments from computer programming in Silicon Valley during the dot com boom to owning and operating a Quiznos Sub restaurant in Mesa, AZ. Jason’s current responsibilities include developing the Nevada commercial bus sales market and serving the needs of retirement communities and churches in Arizona. He is also the IT department for the company. Jason enjoys being outdoors and is happiest when constantly being challenged and learning new things. He lives in Gilbert with his wife Mary, three children, and two golden retrievers- one of which he hopes to train as a bird dog someday.

Service Department

Justin Rougemont
Service Manager

Justin Rougemont began his career by earning an Associates Degree in Automotive Technology. He has been with Arizona Bus Sales for over 11 years. His career began as a Technician, was promoted to Field Service Technician, and has earned the position of Service Manager. Justin prides himself on quality, accuracy, and communication. He understands that customers rely on our service department to keep their fleets up and running. Justin enjoys spending time with his wife and children, camping, hunting, and fishing.

Chuck Mombleau
Technician

Chuck Mombleau joined the Arizona Bus Sales team in 2008. He is an ASE Certified Master Technician, a certified Braun lift technician and is factory trained in Thermo King Transit air conditioning systems. As our service area expands, Chuck represents the core of our field service capabilities in New Mexico.

Scott Bicknell
Service Technician and Fabrication

Scott Bicknell has been a valued member of our Service Team for more than three years. Scott comes from a background of custom fabrication within the desert racing industry. He holds an AA degree in Automotive Technology from UTI and a B.A. in Business Management from ASU. He is certified in Moog suspension systems and is certified under section 609 of the Federal Clean Air Act. His areas of expertise include metal fabrication and design, welding, air conditioning diagnosis, electrical troubleshooting and drivetrain management. He likes to remind us there is no job too big or too small.

Cody Weeks
Apprentice Technician

Cody has been with Arizona Bus Sales since September of 2010 and is currently enrolled at Gateway Community College working towards his Associates Degree in Applied Science of Automotive Technology. Cody will graduate in the spring of 2012 and looks forward to a full time position as a technician.

Ray Olea
Driver / Lot Attendant

Most days Ray has the task of trying to keep the Bus lot in order. He also puts hundreds of miles on the road each week by delivering buses around the State. With an inventory of over 80 buses and hundreds of customers in for service, Ray makes sure everything safe and organized. You will never see Ray standing around; he always finds something to do. Ray will help with anything from building maintenance to grounds keeping. He is the ultimate team player. Ray always has a smile on his face and willing to assist a fellow employee.

Parts Department

Nate Boyd
Parts Manager

9 years ago, Nate joined Arizona Bus Sales as the Parts Delivery Driver. His work ethic gained him an opportunity to move into “back counter sales” for our technicians. Nate continued his efforts by moving into outside customer sales and quickly built up a reputation for delivering the correct parts to his customers in a timely fashion. Nate’s efforts did not go unnoticed and he was given the opportunity to manage the Parts Department in 2005. He answered the challenge with a passion and vigor welcomed by his customers. Nate’s vision has not changed, to deliver the correct parts the first time in a timely fashion.

Greg Kallemeyn
Parts Sales Representative

Greg has been servicing the needs of our parts customers since 2002. Our customers rely on his expertise in providing them with the right parts to meet their needs. Greg has a great relationship with all of our customers and is always willing to go the extra mile in providing prompt and courteous customer service.

Marty O'Conner
Parts Delivery Coordinator

Marty joined Arizona Bus Sales in 2006 and has become a huge asset to the parts team. His ability to relay information from the customers in the field to the guys back on the counter is a big reason we are able to get our hands on the hard to find items. Marty has also been given the task of package logistics. He prides himself on delivering items on time and in good working order.
